Dan The Man is a popular YouTube series created by Studio Joho, that began on March 23, 2010. It was also published to Vimeo and Newgrounds. The series follows Dan and his constant shenanigans throughout the kingdom, while also saving it. His adventures lead him to meet various characters, such as his girlfriend Josie, two pool buddies, red rebel ninjas, peasants, and the oblivious King.
The video game was developed by Halfbrick Studios, and is a side-scrolling battle platformer for mobile devices. Taking place at Stage 8, Dan, his fellow red-suited rebels, and two odd Geezers attempt to speak up for the peasants and overthrow the "evil" king who is making them run on a treadmill to power the street lights. The player completes various levels, defeating five bosses, slowly invading the castle and eventually overthrowing the King. Then the game resets entirely, except in Hard Mode, where the enemies are more powerful and the enemies have more attacks.
