Jiyul (지율) is a South Korean actress and singer currently under Jellyfish Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group Dalshabet.

Career

2011–2015: Dalshabet

Jiyul made her debut on January 6, 2011 as a member of Dalshabet with the group's first mini album Supa Dupa Diva.

In 2013, Jiyul suffered an ankle injury, which resulted in her not being able to join the rest of Dalshabet in performing at the WAPOP K-Dream Concert, held on October 26.[1]

In December 2015, Jiyul revealed in a heartfelt letter that following the expiration of her contract with Happyface Entertainment, she decided to part ways with the agency and Dalshabet.[2]

2016–present: Acting career, return to Dalshabet

On October 19, 2016, Jellyfish Entertainment announced that Jiyul had signed with the agency.[3] She then participated in the company's winter project, "Jelly Box Jelly Christmas 2016".

On September 2, 2019, the members of Dalshabet announced a photo exhibition and mini-concert that would take place in Seoul from September 29 to October 5, with the mini-concert being held on the last day of the event. The event was revealed to be named "Be Ambitious" after the group's seventh single.[4] Jiyul and Kaeun reunited with the group to participate in the event.
