Carlyle is a Wild Soldier robo that appears in Custom Robo (Nintendo 64), Custom Robo V2, and Custom Robo Arena. It is a Normal Style robo in the N64 games and a Speed Style in Arena. It is primarily used by Mammoru, the Champion of the Great Robo Cup, in the N64 titles and by Shipley, one of Stark's disciples, in Arena.

How to obtain

  • Custom Robo (N64): Beat Scenario Mode.
  • Custom Robo V2: Beat Mammoru at Robo Doc's Lab.
  • Custom Robo Arena: Purchase from Encephalon Isle's Parts Shop for $30.00. Alternatively, Carlyle can be purchased from Central District's Parts Shop (Right Clerk) during the Grudge Matches.

Strategy

Use Carlyle's charge to clear walls and to attack low flying robos. The airdashes are good as surprise movements.

Use on Ice and Snow. The airdashes will cause extreme lag on the enemy's end, so abuse that to dodge explosions and gun rounds. Approach and fire the bomb. Charge over the wall and fire the gun. Land, and use the ground shot. Charge, and follow up with the Smash bomb.
