Crysis 4 is upcoming title and the sequel to Crysis 3. It was announced on January 2022. The game is in its early stages of development and no storyline has been announced.

On January 26, 2022, Crytek officially announced the start of development of Crysis 4.[1]
On May 4 it was announced that Matthias Engström has joined Crytek as Creative Director and will develop Crysis 4.[2]
On April 18, 2023, Crytek on the official CryEngine youtube channel published a video about hiring staff to work in the company, including on Crysis 4.[3]
On May 17, 2023, Crytek on the official CryEngine youtube channel published another video about hiring staff to work in the company, including Crysis 4.[4]
On Feb 12, 2025, CryTek announced that development had been on hold since Q3 2024.[5]
