Dr. Gerhart von Orbison is a sound doctor, whom, prior to meeting Muriel Bagge, was lonely, thanks to his enchanted house. To create a friend, he had created a type of music that brought his house - instead, however this backfired as he got an angry and jealous home who would not let him have any neighbours. Dr. Gerhart and Muriel became fast friends, however, his home quickly became jealous and attacked the Bagge home causing severe damage. Courage retaliated by repairing the house, thus calming the then angry home. By the end, a whole neighborhood started springing up, giving the Bagges and Gerhart even more neighbors.
