The Vitis Engine (富士葡萄 Fujibudou?, lit. "Fuji Grapes") is a boss in Hard Corps: Uprising.
Description
A large engine core with a kanji labelled on it. It appears inside one of the Commonwealth's battleships. The arena's edges are not precisely marked due to the floor's round shape so the player should be careful not going too far toward the edges of the screen unless they accidentally fall off the floor.
The boss summons two eyeball-like machines that fire projectiles from side to side, while the ground rotates while walls move around the rotating floor. On the second set of eyes, the floor may shift direction. When a third set of eyes is eliminated, phase 2 begins. Once phase 2 is cleared, the final phase involves the core itself rolling on the platform attempting to mow down the heroes.
