Core Parts are a type of collectible in Contra: Rogue Corps.
Description
A Core Part is a collectible piece of Equipment that resembles a type of schematic. A single Core Part is used in the creation of a weapon it lists at the Base Camp's Workshop. Core Parts have rarities matching the rarity of the weapon that can be built from them. Core Parts can generally be found in missions or are obtained from mission rewards and can also be sold, mush like other pieces of Equipment.
When a player obtains a Core Part, they can use it to develop a Weapon. All Core Parts used will also require a certain number of B.A.D equipment to be used as well (and any additional prerequisites requiring additional or specific B.A.D parts) and a Workshop fee in order to develop a weapon from the Core Part. Although most weapons can be bought, developing weapons may sometimes cause that weapon to exhibit stronger parameters. Core Parts can be obtained from Grades D - A (as well as + variants), meaning a player can obtain two of the same Core Part but each with a different Grade. S+ Grade Core Parts do not exist, leaving the player to upgrade any weapon they have to achieve an S+ weapon. As with other Equipment, Core Parts are available in five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Core Parts can sell for a large amount of money each, making collecting them a good opportunity to accumulate much needed funds, especially if the player has multiples of previously existing weapons in their inventory.

When selling Core Parts, prices are set by rarity as well as its Grade. No matter what Core Part is sold, all prices will be the same as outlined in the below chart:
