The Green Zone, also known as the GZ (pronounced "Gee Zee"), is a special district within of the city of Los Angeles. It's where the privileged and influential live and work. Some people work in the Green Zone but live outside it - they commute each day and have to pass through the security checks at the gates. A Green Zone is mentioned by Devon in S2E2 that is presumably located in the Santa Monica, California Bloc.
History
The Green Zone was created by the Transitional Authority after the Arrival. It was home to many Collaborators who worked for the Transitional Authority.
