The Amulet was a neck item in Club Penguin. It originally cost 200 coins in the Martial Artworks catalog, and only members could buy it. During the Card-Jitsu Party 2011, it became available without membership, and could be obtained for free, still from the catalog. After the party ended, it was removed from the catalog, and all players could obtain it for free when they entered the Dojo Courtyard, either for the first time since this change, or for the first time ever.

Prior to the Card-Jitsu Party 2013 and release of Card-Jitsu Snow, players needed to own this item in order to enter the Fire Dojo and Water Dojo from the Ninja Hideout. Since the party, no requirements were needed to enter any of the three elemental dojos.

Gems

Whenever the player earned an elemental gem for becoming a master of either Card-Jitsu Fire, Card-Jitsu Water, or Card-Jitsu Snow, that gem was added to the player's Amulet:

• Fire Gem
• Water Gem
• Snow Gem

If the player owned all three gems, they would all glow. Owning all three gems also caused the 3 Gems stamp to be earned.

Trivia

• During construction of the Fire Dojo, the Dojo Courtyard was utilized as a workshop for goldsmiths to build Amulets.
• In issue 212 of the Club Penguin Times, it is mentioned that Sensei used an Amulet to calm the volcano. The same issue also mentions that Amulets are made from gold and a "mysterious black gem".
  • This black gem was also featured on the never-released item, the Helmet of Shadows.
