- "We're taking this junker? We'd be better off with that big bug."
"Get aboard and prime the engines… assuming it has engines." - ―Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker commandeer the Twilight during the Battle of Teth
The Twilight was a G9 Rigger freighter that served as the personal starship of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano during the Clone Wars. Its rugged and worn appearance earned it many nicknames from Ahsoka and Obi-Wan Kenobi, such as Grease Bucket and Bucket of Bolts.
It was originally owned by crime lord, Ziro the Hutt as a spice freighter until the Battle of Teth when Republic forces invaded the abandoned monastery where is was stationed, and Anakin Skywalker used it to transport Rotta, the son of Jabba the Hutt, back to Tatooine. However, they were shot down by Dooku's MagnaGuards, in Dooku's attempt to kill the Huttlet and frame the Jedi so the Separatists could gain Jabba's favor. Anakin and Ahsoka were forced to continue on foot, leaving the ship behind to be scavenged by Jawas. But Anakin later returned to the ship, after rescuing Rotta, and reclaimed it.
