Chapter 22

Marked for Death, Part 5 is the 22nd chapter of the Claymore manga series.

Summary

Teresa sends Clare back to the inn to pack their things, and then she approaches the defeated Priscilla. For a moment, it looks as though she will take the younger warrior's head, but Teresa sheathes her sword as Clare returns and the two of them leave. Irene stands, thinking of how best to strike her again, when Priscilla suddenly goes berserk. Priscilla's Yoki explodes out of control and, in her rage, she charges after Teresa. Irene, Sophia and Noel hurry to follow. Meanwhile, Priscilla catches Teresa outside the town. Teresa tells her to stop, as the younger warrior's Yoki is over seventy percent and, if she goes over eighty percent, Priscilla will Awaken. Not listening to her, Priscilla charges and begins to fight with frightening strength and speed. She succeeds in making a small cut on Teresa's face as she begins to lose her mind. Teresa realizes that she has to end this quickly or else Priscilla will be overcome by her Yoma side.
