Zamatch is a resident of Poqui Town who is found during the Winter by the Poqui Town Fountain trying to sell Matches to make some money. She will only appear during the winter time after Event 53 - Ran Bidalt's errands is complete. Zamatch will always be trying to sell her incredibly overpriced Matches every Winter, but the protagonist is only able to buy one after completing the Race against Bidalt.
During Event 97 - Met a match salesperson, Bidalt is seen driving by and purposely ramming Zamatch, causing her Matches to spill all over the ground. Zamatch becomes upset over the ordeal as Bidalt destroys her matches and insults her for selling such useless items. The protagonist intervenes between the two in which Bidalt tells the protagonist to mind their own business, but they refuse. This leaves Bidalt with the only choice to fight the protagonist in a street race.
The protagonist ends up winning and Bidalt runs away. Zamatch thanks the protagonist for the good deed and asks the protagonist to buy her Matches. If the protagonist willingly buys one, Zamatch will immediately charge them 50000G, an outlandishly expensive price, and the protagonist is shocked. Zamatch will react immediately and drop the price down by 90%, giving the protagonist a Match for 5000G (although this appears in the item screen as an entire matchbox). This item is missed if the protagonist decides to buy it reluctantly, wherein Zamatch will tell the protagonist that she doesn't want to sell them a match just because they feel sorry for her.

Trivia
