Grandpa Tal is a resident in Peach Town that lives on top of a hill. In order to get to Grandpa Tal, one will need to talk to the Entrance to the cave to access the Barrel Rolling mini-game and make it to the top without getting hit by a single barrel. After making it to the top, he was surprised that the protagonist had made it past his barrels and assumes that they must be extremely bored to want to do it. Grandpa Tal will explain how he loves rolling barrels and no one is ever going to stop him from doing so. Afterwards, Stamp 6 will be completed.

- Grandpa Tal's Japanese name is derived from the Japanese word "taru" (樽), meaning "barrel" in English.
- "Tarutaru" is written on a sign outside the hill.
