Cobran, also known as Cobrin in Choro-Q HG 3, initially is found roaming around the hilly outskirts of Peach Town close to the river. He talks about loving swings and slides, explaining how he wants to build a place where children can have fun. Although, while living in Peach Town, he cannot afford to have a playground built. Thus, he is looking for a place where property is inexpensive. The protagonist, if My City is unlocked, can be invited to the city. Cobran will agree to check it out to see if he could afford such a goal.
Afterwards, Cobran will be found roaming around My City. Greeting him, he will thank the protagonist for coming to see him and is glad to see them. He will ask if the protagonist feels happy when looking at the playground. The protagonist can provide a response of "a little" or "I'm happy". Cobran believes that is was a great idea to create the park as it was a place of children's dreams. He hopes one day his park will be filled with children.
Cobran is one of the many recruitable teammates available within My City. A few requirements are tied around making Cobran recruitable, though they are rather basic. It is required to obtain Stamp 40 which requires initially talking to the Wonder Estate Agency who will provide the protagonist a garage and open up the city. Afterwards, Gonzo must be recruited as one will need to beat Cobran within the Endurance Run that can only be accessed through Gonzo's Q's Factory. Once all of these requirements are met, Cobran can be recruited into the team.
It is noted that, while he makes an appearance in Choro-Q HG 3, he only will appear in the World Grand Prix, thus makes no appearance in the overworld.
Trivia
- Cobran is known in the Japanese version as "コブラン" (Koburan) both in Choro-Q HG 2 and Choro-Q HG 3.
- "コブラン" is an anagram for a Japanese word, "ブランコ" (buranko), which means "seat swing".
- Cobran's park has bushes in the center, a slide you can drive on (and possibly flying onto a rooftop), a teeter-totter, and poles where swings would be.
- You can drive over walls on each side of the playground once you have Big tires.
