Bunger is the youngest of Keitel's four sons that comes off as a timid yet cheery Choro-Q living in White Mountain along the lakeside. He and his brothers all live across the lake in their own individual houses. When visiting him, the protagonist's arrival will scare Bunger who will explain how he gets scared easily and asks if the protagonist could come in more slowly or knock next time.
The protagonist, if they have talked to Keitel first, will ask if Bunger knows anything about how to open the safe. Bunger states that he does not, and asks why the safe is important to them. He will explain that, because he is the youngest, his father did not tell him anything about the safe and apologizes for not being able to help.
Bunger is one of the many recruitable teammates available within White Mountain. In order to make him recruitable, one must complete Stamp 68 which involves finding out the code for Keitel's safe. Then, Bunger must be beaten in River Raceway. Afterwards, Bunger can be added to the team.
Trivia
- The Skyline family in White Mountain is a reference to the cast of Reservoir Dogs, a movie by Quentin Tarantino. Keitel is named after Harvey Keitel, who plays Mr. White. Ross is named after Tim Roth who plays Mr. Orange. Busheme is named after Steve Buscemi, who plays Mr. Pink. Madison is named after Michael Madsen, who plays Mr. Blonde. Bunger is named after Edward Bunker, who plays Mr. Blue. Despite each Skyline being named after characters with colored code-names, none of their paint colors or fish colors represent these names.
- Interestingly, Wolf is another reference to a movie by Quentin Tarantino, as he is a Honda NSX, the same car driven by Winston Wolf, played by Harvey Keitel in the movie Pulp Fiction.
- During conversations with any of Keitel's sons, you can see the portraits with numbers of fish meaning that there is a code linking to Keitel's safe. The number of green fish on Bunger's portrait is 1.
