The Sea Nymph is a water creature that roams the oceans, similar to Nixies. One sea nymph was called by the Lighthouse Keeper to impersonate Phoebe Halliwell after the real one was captured. The sea nymph only appeared in Light of the World.
History
The sea nymph was called forth by the Lighthouse Keeper to impersonate Phoebe Halliwell after the real one was captured. He gave her Phoebe's form and memories with a kiss, but though she had the needed memory, her behavior was anything but similar to Phoebe's. In addition, the sea nymph could only hold her form by steering clear of any form of liquid (tap water, drinks, alcohol, etc.) except sea water.
When Paige Matthews and Piper Halliwell orbed to the cove to find Phoebe, the nymph found out they were on their way and intercepted them there. She pretended to be trying to follow the nixies, who were causing trouble for their friend's wedding.
At the wedding ceremony, the sea nymph persuaded a doubtful Lyssa to follow her heart and marry the man of her dreams. The captured nixies projected their power from their confinement into ice sculptures and water in their attempt to disrupt the sea nymph's form, and, after several tries, finally succeeded. Just as the ceremony completed, the sea nymph reverted to her natural form, frightening all the wedding guests. She begged the keeper to protect her, but he refused. Knowing he would kill her, she told the sisters about the pocket watch that kept him anchored. The keeper hurled a fireball at her and she vaporized instantly.
