Nina was one of the chosen mortal women who became a Guardian of Pandora's Box. Guardians were assigned the task of protecting the box from being opened by demons, otherwise it would release all of the box's sorrows into the world.
History
During Nina's guardianship, a demon named Katya tried to take possession of the box. Nina resisted and the two started fighting with magic and sais. One of them got stabbed and the box moved on to the next guardian.
It was later revealed that Nina died in the fight and that was why the box moved on, and Katya had shape-shifted into Nina in order to effectively enlist the help of the Charmed Ones to get it from the new Guardian, Hope.
If Nina had not met her demise, then she would have found Hope, and carefully instructed her about her new destiny and the dangers of the box if opened.
Powers and Abilities
- Active Powers
- Energy Blast: The ability to shoot an incredibly powerful energy blast out of the hands, hitting a target with great force.
- Other Powers
- Immunity: The ability to be immune to certain powers, spells or potions. As a Guardian of Pandora's Box, Nina was immune to the sorrows of the box if they are released.
- Through Pandora's Box
- Calling: The ability to will an object into one's hands. As a Guardian of Pandora's Box, Nina could call all the evils back into the box if they are released.
- Natural Skills
- Combat Skills: Nina was an efficient fighter. She could hold her own in a fight against Katya with a sai as her weapon, though she was ultimately killed.
