Janna was a witch who guarded one of the Magical Amulets, while the other was guarded by another witch named Leeza.
History
Janna was the matriarch of a San Francisco coven that specialized in potion making. She was so devoted to the craft that her coven decided to make her one of the two guardians for the Amulet of Protection, which always wore around her neck. When Raynor sent Cole and his partner after Janna to steal her magical amulet, the Charmed Ones intervened and she was taken back to the manor. Janna was thrilled to work with the sisters, knowing that they were the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy. Janna's intelligence in Potion Ingredients aided the sisters in creating a potion to help save Cole by stripping him of his demonic powers.
However, just before Cole could drink the potion, Raynor shimmered in and fired an energy ball at Janna, knocking her out and causing her to lose her amulet. Under the influence of his mentor, Belthazor was then tricked into killing Janna with an energy ball. Her soul was later blessed by the Charmed Ones.
