Gamma was an Avatar who appeared along with Alpha and Beta when they desired to create Utopia. He appeared to be a prominent member of the collective.
History
Utopia
Gamma appeared alongside Alpha and Beta were trying to recruit Leo (who was an Elder at the time) since he was misguided after the Elder Gideon attempted to kill Wyatt and killed Chris. This made him susceptible to their neutral view after they taunted him as floating heads for months which made him doubt most people. When Leo became an Avatar they created their version of Utopia with the assistance of the Charmed Ones. The unforeseen consequence of this action however was that people lost their free will and Gamma was one of the Avatars who monitored the Earth constantly for conflict. If they found anybody who was causing any then they would be killed immediately. The Charmed Ones then made an alliance with the demon Zankou so they could overcome them. The Avatars were willing to reverse what they had done and retreated.
The New Tribunal
The Avatars, along with many other powerful beings, joined a tribunal to discuss the threat of the Old Ones. During the meeting, Gamma seemingly acted as spokesperson for the Avatar collective.

After Prue Halliwell merged with Heremus, the Tribunal tried to get answers by kidnapping those affected by her magic. While the Tribunal examined Tyler Michaels, Prue broke free from the realm Tyler had banished her to and proceeded to slaughter the entire Tribunal, including Gamma.
