Danny was a Whitelighter that was temporarily assigned to the Charmed Ones. He was distrustful of Leo Wyatt, particularly after rumors of him murdering Zola spread.
History
In 2004, after the Elders had recalled Leo under the belief he killed Zola, they assigned Danny to be the Charmed Ones' new Whitelighter. The night before, he was hovering above a fountain when Leo confronted him. When Leo questioned him about exposure, Danny arrogantly replied that he would sense any mortal near him. Leo proceeded to tell Danny the sisters did not need him, though Danny was unimpressed by what he perceived as threats.
After Leo left, Danny heard some rustling in the bushes. Three creatures then jumped out and mauled him. Though he was badly injured, he survived the attack. When he did not appear at the manor the next morning, Leo headed to Magic School, and found a group of Elders healing Danny, who suspected him.
Powers and Abilities
- Active Powers
- Orbing: The ability to teleport through the use of orbs.
- Hovering: The ability to rise a few feet in the air, with or without the use of orbs.
- Sensing: The ability to locate and find charges.
- Whitelighter Powers: All the powers commonly associated with Whitelighters.
Weaknesses
- Darklighter Poison: The origin of this poison is unknown, but it is the most common way to kill Whitelighters. The poison causes the victim to weaken and lose strength. The effects are slow, but no one has lasted for longer than one day. However, the healing power of another Whitelighter is able to heal the victim unless a fatal outcome has occurred.
- Emotional Imbalance: If a Whitelighter is emotionally distraught or loses faith in their cause, their powers will fail.
