Events

Friday, February 13th^[1], 1998: Penny Halliwell gets hospitalized for the first time. Piper met Jeremy^[2] while Grams was at the ER. Once Penny recovered, Prue and Piper gave up their apartment and moved back to the manor, to take care of Grams.
March 1998: Penny Halliwell dies of a heart attack at the Manor, one month after being discharged from the hospital.
March 1998: Phoebe Halliwell moves to New York after Grams's funeral.

September 23th, 1998: Phoebe returns to San Francisco from New York, and the Charmed Ones receive their powers.
September 1998: Andy Trudeau returns to San Francisco. He and Prue start dating again.

It was during the months of February and March that occurred the events described in "Something Wicca This Way Comes" and "Pre-Witched", which some fans find contradictory:
- Prue and Piper think that Grams would recover eventually, and they would eventually return to their apartment.
- Roger flirts with Phoebe, and she rejects him. Prue believes Phoebe is trying to steal Roger, which ultimately led to her breaking off their engagement.
- Some fans believe Grams died at the hospital.
