Zhamo (シャモ shamo) is a playable character in one of the two starting couples in Chaos Rings. He is partnered with Eluca.
Background
Zhamo is introduced early in the game as a young unjaded warrior. He is pure to the point where he is almost naive in the way he thinks of life and its problems causing his fragile bond with hardened Eluca to become strained. He is soon revealed to be of royalty and dreams of becoming the next Divine King of his kingdom, determined to bring peace and prosperity to his people.
Physical Appearance
Zhamo is a young man with dark skin, white hair, and gray eyes. He wears a yellow cloth headband and a choker style necklace. He wears an ornately detailed gold chestplate which is attached by brown shoulder straps, brown and silver gauntlets, a yellow cloth tied around his waist, and dark brown pants with gold detail.
Personality
Zhamo is portrayed as a kind individual in all routes, attempting to stop Escher and Musiea from fighting in Eluca's route, and commenting that it wasn't right for Escher to attack Musiea, due to her being a woman, in Escher's route. He frequently exhibits the inclination to help others, and he is never shown to bear any ill will toward Eluca in spite of what she's done to his parents and to others. His idealistic nature is shown often, but especially in Eluca's route, as he states his intention to rebuild their kingdom as a just and peaceful nation.
Story
After the initial shock of being transported to the Ark fades away and everyone begins formally introducing themselves to each other, Eluca and Zhamo are shown with an already-established bond of respect and loyalty. Eluca believes that Zhamo is destined to rule his country as the King. Zhamo makes it clear that Eluca is the head warrior for his country and wants her at his side as his Queen.
