She is introduced as a young girl around the age of a first year middle school student and is a recent beginner at playing Vanguard. While she is usually shy, if it is regarding "something that she likes", she exudes amazing pressure and talent. She is a member of Team Blackout and Team Tirnanog Youth.

Appearance
Urara is a short girl. Her hair is short and peachy pink, with straight bangs down the middle of her forehead. Her eyes are large and round, with yellow colored irises. She wears her middle school uniform, which consists of a loose pale green vest lined with brown, a loose cream-colored blouse, brown tie, and brown skirt. She also wears cream-colored socks and brown loafers.
Personality
Urara is a cheerful girl. She aims to always enjoy herself in her hobbies, which are playing the flute and Vanguard. She takes a lot of pride in these things, often losing herself in thought when doing them. She also likes to eat.
Urara is also shown to be forgetful, easily flustered and a bit clumsy. In will+Dress Episode 1, she falls asleep on the bus she is riding home and misses her stop, where she is then taken in by Megumi Okura to Wonder Hill and meets Yu-yu Kondo and the rest of Team Blackout. In Episode 2, she panickily introduces herself to all the Deluxe fighters in the waiting room, and then immediately worries that she made a bad first impression. Often at the beginning of her matches in Deluxe, she fumbles her deck while shuffling.
History
Born in Kaga, Japan.
will+Dress Season 1
Urara has a passion for playing the flute. She is in her school's band and takes immense pride in it. However, in the past, she experienced troubles because of her concentration (see Abilities). At the beginning of Episode 5, she tells Mirei Minae that her concentration causes trouble for others. In band practice, Urara would get lost in her own music, which led her to be scolded by the teacher because she couldn't keep rhythm with the others. As a result, Urara is scared that if she can't meet others' expectations, she won't be able to enjoy her hobbies and that she will lose friends. This shows at the beginning of Episode 10, where she has a nightmare that everyone will abandon her because she disappointed everyone. During her match with Yu-yu, she continues to have thoughts of self-doubt. However, Yu-yu helps her to recognize her reason for playing Vanguard, which is just to have fun and fight the way she wants to fight.
will+Dress Season 2
She becomes a new member of the Front Fighter Team, Tirnanog Youth. She later meets Halona Walker, who introduces her to Uniformers which she eventually gets brainwashed. However after her loss against Yu-yu Kondo, Urara has quit Uniformers so she continues to fight with her own style.
will+Dress Season 3
will+Dress D2
Urara has once again been invited by Jinki Mukae as one of the second Deluxe tournament participants in Group D, where she loses to Mirei Minae and supposedly Gui but defeating one other fighter, preventing her from reaching the quarterfinals. It suggests she and Mirei have one win before they fight each other.
Abilities
Urara is repeatedly shown to have some form of synesthesia, hearing a ringing tone during her fights when she senses an important card coming, to which she says "I heard it". She also hears a similar harsh ringing tone when she sees Raika Koshiba fight, which she finds uncomfortable.
She also has a very strong sense of concentration. When she plays Vanguard, she becomes so enthralled by the fight that she can't hear or see anything around her, only focusing on the board. She utilizes this ability to win against several high-ranking Fighters in the Deluxe tournament, despite her status as a beginner. She seems unaware of her own strength, often exclaiming incredulously, "Huh? Did I win?!" at the end of her fights, upon hearing roaring cheers for her victory. However, Urara believes that this ability of hers is a flaw.
Trivia
- Urara is the first Cardfight Vanguard character to be voiced by the same person in Japanese and English.
