Apollo Park is a broad plaza located in downtown Caprica City. The park is dedicated to Apollo, one of the Lords of Kobol and Caprica's patron god. A large statue of the god dominates the park.
The park was the location for the memorial service for victims of the MAGLEV bombing, held on Junius 7, 42YR. ("Rebirth")
Workers attempted to relocate the makeshift memorial of photos, flowers, etcetera, from the place where the MAGLEV blew up to Apollo Park where a permanent shelter would be built for them. However, Amanda Graystone and Clarice Willow chased them off, saying this was where they died and this was where the memorials should stay. ("The Imperfections of Memory")
Filming Location
Apollo Park was shot at a public plaza near Vancouver's Convention Centre. Its “green roof” is visible on the right side in the wide shots.[1]
