Realistic is a difficulty level introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Realistic is the hardest difficulty level in the game and can only be playable once the player has beaten the campaign on any difficulty.

Gameplay

In Realistic, the enemy AIs are smarter and improved when compared to their Veteran counterparts. If the player gets hit by a single bullet or explosion, they will most likely die as surviving even with a slither of health is extremely rare.

Completing a level in Realistic difficulty increases the EXP gains by 50%. The player will earn more achievements and trophies for completing the game on Realistic. Upon completion of a Realistic campaign, the No One Will Believe You and Full Circle achievements are unlocked.
