Area 99 is a Battle Royale map featured in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. The map is designed for Resurgence and was released on November 14th, 2024 as part of the Season One for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
The map was removed on April 2nd, 2025 following the Season Three update of Black Ops 6.

Nuke Easter Egg
An Easter Egg could be completed during a match on Area 99. At least two players were required to complete it.
The first step was to shoot the head of 12 mannequins wearing clothes around the Mannequin Assembly. A unique sound will play after the step if done correctly. Inside the Reactor, the corpses of two scientists were highlighted, each player needed to interact with one corpse to steal the Credentials. If done correctly, a grey keycard would appear on the HUD. The two players would then need to move into the bunker at Test Site and interact with each computer console to launch the nukes.
A siren would then be heard and after a few seconds, three nukes would detonate out of the map.
