Tro-Clon

The Tro-Clon was a "confluence of events" which would bring about the purification or ruination (or both) of mankind. Its arrival was announced in the Nyazian Scrolls.^{[citation needed]}

It was initially assumed by the Angel Investigations staff that the Tro-Clon was a single event or an individual, though they soon learned that, in fact, the Tro-Clon was a confluence of events which culminated in the rise of Jasmine, as explained by Skip. According to him, there was a series of events going back years that had all been guided by Jasmine, working as a Higher Power, towards the single purpose of bringing herself to Earth.^{[citation needed]}

• Fred and Lorne switching dimensions. Lorne's spell was necessary to "activate" Jasmine inside the amnesiac Cordelia.^{[citation needed]}
• Angel's departure from Sunnydale to Los Angeles.^{[citation needed]}
• Cordelia moving to Los Angeles and receiving the visions from Doyle.^{[citation needed]}
• The death of Alonna Gunn.^{[citation needed]}
• The raising of Darla and Angel's completion of the Trials to give Darla "a new life."^{[citation needed]}
• Birth of Connor with the "new life" won in the Trials.^{[citation needed]}
