Principal Stevens was the principal of Dawn's junior high school.
Shortly after Joyce's death, she called Buffy in to inform her that Dawn hadn't been turning up for school, describing her as talented when she applied herself. After asking Dawn to leave them alone, she warned Buffy that if she couldn't make Dawn attend school she might not be considered a suitable guardian.
