Paul Lanier was the CEO of a Los Angeles based wish-granting firm and a wizard of European descent. Paul was a rival of Magnus Bryce, and attempted to kidnap his daughter Virginia in attempt to intercept Magnus's intent to gain great power by sacrificing her to a demon.
