Marissa was a vampire living in Los Angeles.
Her feeding grounds were the bluffs down by the beach. After Angel's disappearance,[1] Charles Gunn and Winifred Burkle looked for her in hopes that she could give them a clue as to what happened to Angel, as he was last seen at her feeding ground.
Gunn, Fred and Connor managed to track her down and discover she did know what happened to Angel, but before she had a chance to tell them, Connor purposely allowed her to escape before giving chase and dusting her to ensure that they would never know that he was behind Angel's disappearance, covering it up to Gunn and Fred by injuring himself and stating that she attacked him.
Powers and abilities
In addition to the common powers and vulnerabilities of vampires, Marissa possessed the unique ability to climb up vertical surfaces like a spider, doing so in an attempt to escape Connor.
