M'Fashnik was a species of mercenary demons that performed acts of slaughter and mayhem for the highest bidder. The Trio hired one of them in 2001.[1]
Dawn and Xander debated on how to pronounce M'Fashnik. Dawn said, "Maybe its 'Mmm'fashnik,' like 'Mmm cookies!'" Xander then said, 'Or maybe it's Mu'Fashnik,' like Mu... Fashnik.'" According to Rupert Giles, Dawn was correct.[1]
