The Lost Slayer was a Slayer active in 1612, Japan.
Biography
According to the legend of the Lost Slayer, she had a samurai as her Watcher. In 1612, early in her career as the Slayer, the Watcher failed in his duty and his lord ordered him to commit seppuku. The Watcher then had to choose where his duty lied: to his Slayer or his lord. He chose his lord, and the Slayer was left without help. She was killed three months later.[1]
In 1817, Claire Silver wrote in her Watcher Diary about her search of the scroll containing the Legend of the Lost Slayer, which she believed to be true.[1]
In 1997, a scroll was discovered in Osaka detailing her story. Kobo faxed it with Rupert Giles in the following year as a thanks for his lessons on being a caring Watcher.[1]
