"Jack" is a short story from the Tales of the Vampires comic book miniseries. Written by Brett Matthews and illustrated by Vatche Mavlian, it was originally published on January 14, 2004, by Dark Horse Comics.
Summary
Jack the Ripper, a vampire, meets his end at the hands of Inspector James Whitcomb, who, as the lead investigator of the Ripper case, discerned his true nature. Whitcomb is himself a vampire, who killed Jack to keep the existence of vampires a secret from the populace.
