The Illuminata was a large diamond that was rumored to contain quasi-mystical quantum properties.[1]
History
The Illuminata was displayed on Sunnydale Natural History Museum, from where the Trio it to power their invisibility ray.[1] Once installed in their invention, the diamond allowed the ray to make any target invisible or revert them to their natural state. Willow Rosenberg eventually took the ray from the Trio, including the Illuminata.[2]
