Cordy!verse

Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is conjectural.

An alternate timeline was created by Skip after Cordelia Chase fell into a coma because of a vision. In this new reality, instead of crossing paths with Angel at a party in Los Angeles, Cordelia took another path and met a producer, who decided to make her the star of the show Cordy!.[1]

History

In Los Angeles, Angel spent a few months alone, patrolling dives and dark alleys, fighting vampires who hunted there. Soon enough, he received support in his attempts to redeem himself in the service of others. First, Doyle, a half-Brachen demon with precognitive abilities was sent by the Powers That Be to be Angel's guide. Investigating Tina's case, Angel was present at the same party that Cordelia, who had moved to Los Angeles to find wealth and fame. However, they didn't meet, as Cordelia instead bumped into an influential talent agent who agreed to sign her up. As a result, Cordelia's acting career was a success and she eventually became the star of her own sitcom, Cordy!.[1]

Without Cordelia, Angel and Doyle formed Angel Investigations, a private detective agency. Eventually, Doyle sacrificed himself to save others, giving to Angel his power of visions, causing the vampire to "retreat into himself." Wesley arrived in Los Angeles around that time and lost one of his arms while fighting a Kungai demon. A few months later, they were joined by lifelong demon fighter Gunn, who had a scar over his face. Over time, Angel was haunted by the visions and became a recluse who only communicated with Gunn and Wesley to tell them what he had seen in his visions.[1]

Two years later, the then two-time Emmy-winning star Cordelia Chase became uncertain about this reality. She went to the functioning Hyperion Hotel and found the address 171 Oak, which she had written on the wall in the original reality. In that address, she found Cynthia York attempting to performing a spell and inadvertently summoned a demon. Wesley and Gunn appeared to save them, and Cordelia recognized the ex-Watcher from Sunnydale.[1]

They took Cordelia to visit Angel, whom she kissed. A spark appeared between their lips, and Cordelia took the visions into herself. She then made a deal with Skip to make her part demon and restore reality to normal.[1]
