Awards and Nominations
BTS' Dynamite won multiple awards and achievements. It was #1 on the Billboard HOT 100 chart. Dynamite is the first and currently only group of this century to debut at #1 and stay there for at least two weeks. The only other record in history is Aerosmith with “Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” in 1998. The other 18 songs on the highly exclusive list are all by solo acts. Within an hour after this announcement, #BTS2ndNo1OnHot100 reached #1 on Twitter’s worldwide hashtag trends while #DYNAMITE CELEBRATION was at #2.[7]
When Dynamite debuted live on YouTube, it broke yet another record for most "attendees" for the video. Dynamite also received 101.1 million views in 24 hours on YouTube, becoming the fastest video to receive 100 million or more views.
