Tera Plexo is the deuteragonist of Boot-Up.
Tera is the smart and nerdy goofball that also likes to hang around with her girlfriend Kimi.
History
Background
Tera was born in The Multi-PleXelverse on February 5th, 2003. Currently, she resides in an apartment complex called Monolokio along with friends Kimi H. Bytes, Slush Alexander, Frutle McHanks and Samantha Stockington. Frutle frequently stops by Tera's apartment to present his new potions, with which she'd test with some test subjects. Tera has proven to be good at handling equipment and appartuses, being able to make potions and fix machinery.
Sometime before the events of "A Cold Start", she comes across Kimi H. Bytes, with whom she forms a relationship.
Boot-up
"A Cold Start"
Tera has a fox-tail as a side-effect of one of Frutle's potions that transforms the user into a fox, which she tested on herself as her regular test subjects were absent. She eventually made a potion that reverted most of the effects.
She and Kimi are first seen entering the WiFood restaurant, where she listens to her explaining how she gained her PC Powers and suggesting that she can fix her from a disc drive that opens at random. She sweetly asks for two straws with Kimi's glass of Korg Soda to share, and points out Slush Alexander's obsession for ice. Tera and Kimi hastily leave the WiFood after he gets kidnapped by Croctra MacGuffin in a truck. While Kimi engages in a battle with Croctra, she is tasked with steering the truck back the other way, and encounters Happy and Jekki; the former traps her in "Happy-Vision", a dark void with laughing Happy clones that she eventually breaks out of by blinding Happy with particles from Frutle's fox potion, the latter she would knock out of the truck in order to take control of it. She knocks Croctra down to protect Kimi but in the cost of leaving the truck running towards Da Boom Factory. Tera, Kimi and Slush jump out of the truck, and later meet Samantha Stockington in Monolokio, where Kimi blows Tera a kiss at the elevator.

Physical description
Tera is a young, dark brown-skinned woman who wears large square glasses over her eyes and has neck-length brown hair tied back in a low ponytail with a purple scrunchie. She has a beige-brown fox tail as a side-effect from testing one of Frutle McHanks' potions on herself.
For her main outfit, Tera dons a purple shirt with a white "refresh" icon with black sleeves, finishing with black jeans and a pair of black shoes with a purple trim and grey soles.
Personality
Like Kimi, a kind, funny, heartwarming person to hang around with and protects her friends and family. Unlike Kimi, Tera has more of an understanding of what's right and wrong in terms of her living in the Multi-PleXelverse ever since she was a child.
Relationships
Kimi H. Bytes
Tera first met Kimi as she arrived at the Multi-Plexelverse, they originally started off as friends but as they began talking and meeting each other more, their love became stronger as they wouldn't ever imagine each other being split apart.
Slush Alexander
Tera met Slush while JPGO is being built, Slush was chasing around a goose as the said-goose stole one of the inventions needed for the place. Slush was able to retrieve it back and give it to Tera as an Apology, and both of them became instant friends.
Croctra MacGuffin
Tera met Croctra during the Pilot Episode "A Cold Start". Tera doesn't know Croctra too well but, knowing how Kimi and Croctra have fought before, Tera stays by Kimi's side at all times.

Trivia
- In development, Tera underwent the most drastic changes of Boot-Up’s main cast.
- Earlier iterations depicted her as a freckled white-skinned person. She had a long bob of spiky black hair (later made longer as to cover her eyes) with colourful highlights across it, wearing fashionable clothing.
- Later in development her race was changed to Black, and a redesign was due, depicting Tera with shorter hair — along with a large dark pink streak — shaved at the side. She adopted a simple indigo T-shirt with short grey sleeves, a pair of grey pants and dark purple shoes. She was depicted as a strong character who holds a pink purse that would’ve carried her belongings.
- Finally, Tera had a redesign more akin to her current in-show look. Her dark skin was slightly brightened, and she wore a dark grey jacket with indigo sleeves over a light grey shirt sporting a diagonal white steak. She originally had a wolf’s tail, later shifting to the fox tail she has today. This design makes an appearance in “A Cold Start” as part of a picture set as Kimi’s desktop wallpaper.
