Trivia

  • Sal-a-sauce is not seen in the end of the episode because he was very busy.
  • Marissa Pontecorvo, who is related to Victoria Pontecorvo, the voice of Blue in Blues Room, is one of Joe's friends in this episode.
  • "The Feelings Game" replaces "The So Long Song" in this episode.
  • Starting with this episode until Soccer Practice, except for Blue's First Holiday, The Legend of the Blue Puppy, and Skidoo Adventure, there is a permanent addition where the clues will talk and sing after they are drawn in Steve/Joe's notebook, which started in Our Neighborhood Festival. This is also the first episode in production order to have the clues talk and sing after being drawn in the notebook.
  • Joe wears a blue squared shirt in this episode.
  • Additional instruments were seen in Race to the Thinking Chair.
  • At the end of the letter, after the kids say, "Bye, Joe!" they giggle like the kids in Blocks as their castle collapses for Steve.
  • The first two clues (scrunched up eyebrows and hands-on-hips) talk but do not have mouths. This is so young viewers don't get confused with the third clue (scrunched up mouth), especially during Thinking Time.
  • In this episode, Joe did not say "we have all three clues," which was also done in Blue's News and The Fairy Tale Ball. He figured since the Talking Clues said "Now that we're three, what will we be?", that would indicate to the viewer that they have all three clues.
  • In the credits, this is the last episode with the regular animation of one of Blue's actions: hopping across the credit slides. However, a similar animation can be seen at the end of Joe's Clues.
  • Mr. Salt appears in the yellow picture frame without Mrs. Pepper, but he does not appear again with her in the end credits.
  • This episode used the phrase "Right There!" from Numbers Everywhere!
  • In the letter, the surprised face that the boy makes is first, the happy face that the girl makes is second, and the sad face that the boy makes is the last one before saying goodbye and giggling.
  • The song everyone sings while playing the Feelings Game is "Look At My Body."
  • Victoria Pontecorvo voiced the first clue, Scrunched Up Eyebrows, in this episode. She would later go on to voice Blue in her puppet form in Blue's Room.

Goofs

  • Chad Rogers is also known as Chad Rodgers.
  • At the start of the episode, the shaker family starts moving away with the title pennant, which then changes to the pennant seen in The Big Book About Us.
  • After the second clue is introduced, the first clue is revisited twice.
  • Once all three clues are discussed, the first clue is paused while the second clue is reviewed.
  • During Thinking Time, when the third clue repeats the question, it uses the voice of the second clue.
  • When Joe sings, "That's the third clue!", his mouth does not move.
  • The credits for this episode are out of control:
    • When Blue appears, she is not centered correctly and her bark plays early.
    • Shovel and Pail are off-sync during the credits.
    • When Tickety appears, her bouncing sound is not heard.
    • Slippery's sound effects play too early during the credits.
    • Also, Mailbox is muted during the credits.
