Bunzels are the primary crop on Jo-Ad. They resemble ears of corn and are yellow in color with green stalks. They are used to make a variety of foods including bunzelberry pie. There is a yearly harvesting time for this crop. After Bunzels are harvested, they are kept in silos.
Bunzel is especially grown on Booster's home farm.
Bunzel Fever
In the episode of the same name, there is an old Jo-Adian myth (which is later shown to be true) that if a Jo-Adian misses the Bunzel Harvest, they will enter a primal feral phase where they will grow a tail, their hands will turn into claws and they will see almost anything as a Bunzel. The only known cure for the fever is for the Jo-Adian to participate in the harvest and gather all the Bunzels in the field, thus returning them back to normal. Booster is said to be the only Jo-Adian to have come down with the fever.
