The committee (委員会 iinkai) is the upper management group of the 7th Agency. They are an apparent reason for the conflict between the 7th Agency and the World Void Information Control Organization due to their detest for the latter.
The committee was first shown in the “that which is inherited” extra story. Around 15-20 of its members were present at the board meeting of the 7th Agency’s upper section and later ordered Relius Clover to look at the Machine God: Nirvana that they retrieved during the Event Weapon Dispossession Operation; another event that they orchestrated. The committee’s relationship with Relius Clover is largely ambiguous.
During BlazBlue: Chronophantasma, the committee released Azrael from stasis after a telephone call from Relius. They gave Azrael the orders to take down Kokonoe Mercury and TR-0009 Tager, and to confiscate Ragna the Bloodedge’s Blue Grimoire. They put multiple restraints on the Mad Dog so he wouldn’t go berserk.
