Chasgo was the pilot of the Federation ship that transported Servalan to Virrn. He experienced electromagnetic interference when he tried to land the ship: He managed to bring it down largely intact, but five miles away from Don Keller's base instead of half a mile as planned. While Servalan, Reeve and the other crewmember ventured out, Chasgo attempted to clear the damaged engines and was confused when the sand engulfed his ship and he was unable to shake it loose.
Some of the sand got into the ship but only enough to weaken Chasgo, not kill him. When the sand outside was destroyed by the rainstorm caused by Scorpio, Chasgo swept the rest off the ship, then fell asleep. He was roused by Servalan, who told him the others were dead and convinced him to take off the now functional ship before the sand replenished itself. (D: Sand)
