Yagos

Yagos 「ヤーゴス Yāgosu」[1] is a mage from the Diamond Kingdom and one of its Eight Shining Generals.[2]

Appearance

Yagos is a short elderly man with a hunched back and bangs of curly gray hair covering his eyes. He wears a military uniform from the Diamond Kingdom. He loses his right arm to Langris Vaude's Spatial Magic.[3]

Personality

Yagos is rather smug and prideful, but he also thinks practically and is not hesitant to use underhanded tactics.[4] He is quick to lose his composure when things are not going his way.[5][6]

Biography

Diamond Kingdom force against Kiten

Yagos, Ragus, and Broccos lead an army to attack Kiten.[2] As Yagos gives out orders, Broccos ignores him and smashes through the wall around the town.[7] Yagos is moving through the town and draining the strength from captured Magic Knights when Langris Vaude ambushes him. With his offensive Spatial Magic, Langris severs Yagos's right arm and large section of the snail.[4]

Asta defeats Yagos

After collecting several hostages in his snail, Yagos seeks revenge on Langris, who warps away the attack. While Langris is willing to sacrifice the hostages, he is stopped by the Black Bulls who offer to capture the general. Charmy Pappitson launches Asta, who is then warped by Finral Roulacase to above Yagos. Asta pulls out his Demon-Dweller Sword and dispels the snail, freeing the hostages. Yagos throws more mucus at Asta, who is warped away and hits the general from behind.[8] Yagos is left bound in Cotton Magic.[9]

  • Mucus Magic: Yagos uses magic attribute to generate and manipulate mucus.[10]

Abilities

  • Immense Endurance: Yagos survives having his right arm severed by Langris Vaude and continues to fight, much to the latter's surprise.[12]
