Zemya was an Onu-Matoran.
History
Metru Nui
Very little is known about Zemya's life on Metru Nui. It is known that like all the other Matoran, he was captured by the Vahki and placed in a Matoran Sphere, later to be rescued by the Toa Metru.
Mata Nui
Zemya was awakened by the Turaga and lived in Onu-Koro. Zemya is believed to have been a guildmaster,
and was angry when Onu-Koro seemed to be sealed off tradewise from the rest of the island. He was a member of the Onu-Koro Council. He was evacuated along with the rest of the Onu-Matoran when the Gahlok attacked. After he was rebuilt, he owned a small shop that sold goods to the Onu-Matoran and travelers like Hahli that passed by.
Return to Metru Nui
Zemya presumably moved his shop to Metru Nui when the time came for all Matoran to go back to their home. He was helping to repair Metru Nui until the Staff of Artakha repaired the rest of the city.
Spherus Magna
He later evacuated the Matoran Universe onto Spherus Magna.
Trivia
- Zemya's name is similar to the word "earth" in some Slavic languages, for example "Zemlya" in Russian or "Ziemia" in Polish.
