The Kanohi Elda was the Mask of Detection. It gave the user the power to detect the presence of nearby hidden beings (such as a Huna or Iden user) and track the Kanohi Ignika. Few Great Elda existed, as their primary purpose was to track the Kanohi Ignika's location. The Noble Elda only allowed its user to see hidden beings. Kanohi Elda were always on at a low level.
Example Usage
- Great: Toa Hahli's Elda let her see and communicate with Toa Matoro's unleashed spirit in BIONICLE Legends 3: Power Play; in the same book, Hahli also unknowingly tracked the Ignika's location, indicated to her by the mask through headaches.
