Krei-oke Night

Krei-oke Night is the first half of the sixtieth and final episode of Big Hero 6: The Series. It premiered on February 15, 2021, and is the first segment of the tenth episode of Season 3 alongside "The Mascot Upshot".

Synopsis

Krei enlists Big Hero 6 to launch his new karaoke machine.

Plot

Go Go, Hiro, Honey Lemon and Baymax meet with Alistair Krei at Krei Tech, where they see his company's new invention: the Krei-struction Sonic Cannon. They argue that it could be a highly dangerous weapon in the wrong hands, but Krei is not worried about it and tells them didn't call them for that. Meanwhile, Noodle Burger Boy hacks into Krei's network and sees the cannon. Then, remembering how he used to be a singing mascot, sings to his sisters about stealing it.

At Krei Tech, Krei tells Big Hero 6 about his Krei-oke machine and how he hasn't been able to sell a single unit yet, asking them to do something about it before can lose his "Krei Acres" in a bet he made. Honey Lemon decides to organize a Krei-oke Nite event so that people can sing together while Fred live-streams it, in hopes people will become interested in it and buy. While she sings, Noodle Burger Boy and sisters sneak around Krei campus to steal the sonic cannon. Globby and Felony Carl sing a romantic duet song, but Krei is still upset there are no buyers yet. Aunt Cass then joins in, telling Hiro she saw Fred's live-stream and wanted to try because she loves karaoke—but has no intentions to buy a machine.

Wasabi then sings a song of his own while Crushroom unsuccessfully tries to break into the sonic cannon room. Noodle Burger Boy tries to hack in but the door is too secure to be unlocked by him, so Hyper-Potamus suggests hacking into the cannon itself to destroy the door from the inside. Professor Granville, having heard about the karaoke night, goes to Krei Tech and starts to sing, while Noodle Burger Boy manages to break the sonic cannon out and drives it with his sisters. Hiro, Go Go and Baymax notice as the building begins to crumble from the sonic cannon's power, so they gear up to fight the mascot robots while Granville continues to sing, impressing Krei as he believes the roof getting destroyed was from her voice.

Hiro and Baymax search for something to counter the cannon's power, finding spare parts for another sonic cannon which Hiro then plugs into the Krei-oke machine to fight off the mascots. While Hangry Panda, Crushroom and Hyper-Potamus try to use the cannon's power against the heroes, Noodle Burger Boy gets a strong urge to sing and joins Granville, singing alongside her but inadvertently defeating his own sisters due to his voice's power being used by Big Hero 6's sonic cannon. Though the sonic cannon is destroyed, the sound waves also caused great damage to his building, which Krei complains about the next day—ignoring the fact that the heroes initially warned him about it. In addition to that, he tells Honey Lemon that Krei-oke was not the hit she believed, as it sold only one unit—causing Hiro to wonder who the "sucker" who bought it was.

It is then shown that Noodle Burger Boy was the sole purchaser of it as he sings a sad blues song at night about feeling lonely because Obake and Trina left him, but his sisters get annoyed by his singing so Crushroom throws him and the Krei-oke out the window, destroying the machine.
