Trivia

  • In Greek mythology, four people were known as Cycnus or Cygnus. Most of them ended up being transformed into swans.
  • Cycnus resembles an Egyptian Pharaoh.
  • He slightly resembles Mystel from the original Beyblade series.
  • The constellation for Cycnus's bey, Cygnus, is mentioned in the episode
  • In the anime, Cycnus never used Attack Mode in any one of the battles.
  • The Cygnus constellation was mentioned as part of the episode, The Guardian of the Temple, Dynamis , in order to open the Mist Mountain Temple doors. This connection could have been inspired by the Greek epic poem Cypria, where Zeus transformed into a swan to defile the goddess of retribution, Nemesis. Nemesis ends up as the mother of Helen of Troy instead of mortal queen Leda. Interestingly enough, Cycnus is a Nemesis Blader, opposing the side of Zeus (aka the Legendary Bladers).
