Dave was a crew member of the Art Department at Joey Drew Studios in the novel Dreams Come to Life. He was later sacrificed to The Ink Demon by Sammy Lawrence in the Cort Theater.

Dave is a man of few words, as seen from his interactions with his coworkers and he is also self-conscious about his work, always keeping it concealed whenever his coworkers get nosy.
