Time Cycles

This article belongs to the Classic Continuity

The Time Cycles,[1][2] or Time Bikes,[3][4] were time travel vehicles that enabled the driver to travel through space and time.

Appearance

They take the form of futuristic looking motorcycles with Ben's being colored green and white and Rook's being orange and white. The two bikes can also combine into one airborne vehicle, with the front wheels turning into wings and the back wheels into propulsion jets.

History

Omniverse

In Let's Do the Time War Again, the Time Cycles were created by Ben 10,000 as Uprigg from Ben and Rook's destroyed Tenn-Speed and Proto-TRUK. After travelling back in time to before Gravattack caused a black hole, they used the cycles to stop the rampaging Time Beast that Eon unleased in Undertown.

In The Secret of Dos Santos, Ben and Rook used the time cycles to travel to Dos Santos so they could help Kai.

In The Final Countdown, Ben used his Time Cycle to pursue Yetta throughout Bellwood.

In The Most Dangerous Game Show, Ben loaned Kai his Time Cycle for a race on Anur Transyl.

In The End of an Era, Ben and Rook used the Time Cycles to travel to the future so they could fight Maltruant.

In A New Dawn, Professor Paradox placed a Time Beast egg into a compartment on Ben's Time Cycle. Ben and Rook then used the Time Cycles to follow Maltruant into the timestream. Following ramming into Maltruant's chariot, the three became stranded in 1773. After assisting George Washington in fighting Maltruant and Vilgax, the two used the Time Cycles to travel to before the universe was created. However, they crash-landed into a Contumelia Ship, destroying the Time Cycles.

Features

The vehicles had the capability to travel through space-time, giving the user instantaneous travel. They were also impervious to time attacks. They were capable of de-aging an opponent into infancy and deploying nets for capture. Both cycles made use of a Chroniton Particle provided by Paradox.

Shift adjustments could be made to the past using the Time Cycles without causing a paradox. Due to the fractal nature of the time continuum, these shift adjustments must be minor.[1][4] For example, Ben and Rook received a call from Kai, and then travelled back in time to before she made the call, with no major consequences.
