The New Order is the first Ben 10: Alien Force comic published in the Cartoon Network Action Pack series, published by DC and Cartoon Network. This comic appears in issue 27 of the series.[1]
Plot
Ben Tennyson is a fifteen year old with the ability to become any of ten cosmically powered aliens. After giving up the hero business for some time, he's back as defender of Earth against a growing alien threat.
As Ben, and his Manna-manipulating cousin Gwen walk alongside their old pal Kevin, the three are met with the site of Kevin's missing high tech [2] car, presumably hijacked.
Tracking Kevin's 'bio-energy' through his sweat to locate the car, Gwen is swept up into the air alongside Kevin by Ben, having transformed into Jetray to transport the trio quickly. The three seemingly immediately arrive at a castle, with them deducing the Forever Knights are behind Kevin's car-napping.
Using Jetray's blasts while Kevin and Gwen try find the car, Ben makes a mess of the castle's defenses, attracting the attention of the Forever Knights' secret weapon, "the Dragon"! Picking the form Humungousaur to fight the giant, green, fungus looking creature, Ben is soon quickly defeated after spores release, knocking him to the ground.
The Forever Knights take the opportunity to run free, having attached Kevin's car to the top of their submarine. Kevin rushes to save his automobile, but Gwen sees Ben vulnerable, wishing the two to help him, which Kevin declines.
Awaking to find himself precariously being held up by the dragon, Ben is soon saved by Gwen's manna attacks, as well as a quick save by Kevin, though not without the threat of Ben owing him his car back for the action.
As the Forever Knights attempt a getaway in their submarine, they're thwarted when Big Chill stops them in their icy tracks, freezing the body of water.
With the three happily driving away in Kevin's newly retrieved car, Ben contemplates his new responsibilities.

Continuity
- This comic takes place after Max Out, due to the mention of Ben losing Max to the Highbreed. This also places it before the episode Voided.
- Based on the alien lineup at the start, it can be inferred that this comic takes place between The Gauntlet (Goop's debut) and X = Ben + 2 (Alien X's debut).
- Kevin mentions the Forever Knights trading with the Highbreed, something the audience has seen them do through the DNAliens in Ben 10 Returns: Part 1.
Errors
- The "Dragon" that features in this comic varies wildly from the one seen in Ben 10 Returns: Part 1, despite also serving the purpose of guarding the Forever Knights' castle.
Trivia
- Jetray is seen breaking the sound barrier, something he hadn't done at this point in the show.
