The Proto-Tool is a high tech multi-functional weapon that serves as Rook Blonko's primary weapon.

Appearance

The appearance of the Proto-Tool depends on its mode. In its default form, it appears to be a blaster, colored indigo, white and orange. It has a Galvan tech symbol on the top of its handle. When not in use, Rook wears the Proto-Tool on his shoulder.

History

Background

The Proto-Tool was created by the Galvan^{[DJW 1]} an unspecified time ago and given to Rook.

Omniverse

When not in use or on standby, Rook wears the Proto-Tool on his left shoulder.

In Showdown: Part 2, the Proto-Tool was absorbed by Malware, though Rook eventually received a replacement.

In Rook Tales, the Proto-Tool was destroyed by Kundo before being fixed by Rook Ben.

Functions

The Proto-Tool can turn into a blaster, power sword, staff, bow, grappler, shield, fishing pole, and numerous other equipment.

Disadvantages

• The Proto-Tool is an extremely complex device and only those who are familiar with Plumber and Galvan technology can properly use its many features, such as Rook, Azmuth, and Wes Green.
  • When Billy Billions tried to use it, the Proto-Tool literally backfired on him.^[2]
  • The Red Knight shot itself through the chest when it tried to use the Proto-Tool.^[3]
• The Proto-Tool can run out of power, as shown when in the presence of Terroranchula Phil.^[4]
